Hi! I'm Michael Barron. I am a family man and a proud Air Force veteran since 2006. I have years of electrical, project management and leadership experience along with an educational background in Information and Computer Science with a focus in Software Engineering.

I seek to add value to a growth-oriented team in an entry-level development role. I am eager to meet new people, discover new technologies and solve problems with web applications and software solutions. I spend most of my time learning and building my knowledge of web and software technologies.

Skills

I am skilled in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I am familiar with Java, C++ and SQL, and I have had some exposure to ASP.Net, PHP and jQuery. I have also built some sites using WordPress.

I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), so I am familiar with agile and scrum methodologies.

Future Goals

I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Geographical Information Science (GIS), as well as a certification in CompTIA Security+.
